About The Church

What is the service like?

We aim for our worship services to be reverent, joyful, and accessible to the everyday Christian. We sing hymns, songs, and psalms in familiar styles. We listen to the word preached passage by passage with an eye towards practical application. The goal above all is to give glory and honor to our Almighty God!

Our services are usually 90 minutes long. We start at 2pm and end around 3:30pm.

We love having children in our worship services! A church with the squeaks, coos, and shifting of children is a church with a bright future.

If your children gets upset, feel free to take them out, but bring them back in when they are able to behave. We want our children to learn to love God and worship him by worshiping alongside their parents.

What do my children do?

Come in what you have, whether it is a suit or shorts. There are some of both most Sundays. Worship is a reverent and joyful occasion, so clothes that are modest and clean are appropriate.

What do I wear?

What do you believe?

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has a duty to preserve the faith “once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3) as well as to preach the whole counsel of God (2 Tim 4:1,2). Throughout history God’s people have sought to accomplish this by writing creeds, statements of faith, to summarize the most essential elements of biblical doctrine.

Among these historic creeds, we affirm the ecumenical creeds including the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. As a mission work of Reformation Orthodox Presbyterian Church, our formal doctrinal standards are the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Shorter Catechism, and the Larger Catechism.

Reading of God’s Law

The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that…

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.

Silent, then Corporate Prayer of Confession

Almighty and most merciful Father; We have erred, and strayed from thy ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against thy holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; And we have done those things which we ought not to have done; And there is no health in us. But thou, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare thou those, O God, who confess their faults. Restore thou those who are penitent; According to thy promises declared unto mankind In Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake; That we may hereafter live a godly, righteous, and sober life, To the glory of thy holy Name. Amen.

✞Assurance of Pardon: 1 John 1:9

To all those who repent and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, I declare that absolution of sins promised by God in his Word, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
